Bob’s Independence Day– 2026 – Oil on canvas – 16″ x 20″
This one was just for fun. Do you remember what happened in the movie “Independence Day”? For a while now I’ve wondered what Bob Ross might have done in the aftermath, with one of the alien ships and the likely stock piles of unused Phlalo Green we seldom use, to help restore our great country’s patriotic landscape. So I thought this July 2026, I would bring these ideas to life on canvas.
Using Bob’s Wet-On-Wet Technique®, this is my rendering of “Bob’s Independence Day” as he takes Captain Kirk’s chair and spreads his Joy of Painting®, giving life back to the country side one little Happy Lake and Mountain at a time. You can almost hear him say in his soft tone….”Helloooooo, I’m Baaaack.”
