I painted this seascape piece during our 3 hour May class with the Gifts of Hope cancer survivors, who all had a great time and painted along with me creating their very own first Bob Ross seascape. So happy this one sold for $175 at their silent auction event to help their mission.
Using the Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet Technique®, this is another one of my original paintings inspired by some of our amazing West Texas oil field sunrises. I brought this one to class, to show the students an example of what they too could do and what Bob taught me using his technique in his Joy of Painting TV series. He always would say “You can do anything you want to do – This is your world.” This one sold for $500 at their silent auction event and so glad to see how Bob is still able to share his Joy and HOPE to others.
